Visit Todmorden
Todmorden is located in the dramatic scenery of the South Pennines. Whether you are looking for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding, or just want to soak up the history of this once textile producing mill town, Tod is a great place to visit. [Map]

The Pennine Way, Calderdale Way and Pennine Bridleway pass through the town but that's only the start. The area is criss-crossed with great walks and mountain biking including the recently opened Mary Townley Loop, a bridleway which takes in some magnificent scenery circling Todmorden. The Mountain Biking is so good the Singletrack mountain bike magazine is based here.

Forget the Dales, see some real scenery and the space to enjoy it without the crowds. You won't find a more welcoming place this beautiful and this quiet.
